Have you ever wanted to make handmade cards but didn’t know where to begin? In the end finding yourself at the store paying $4.00 for one card? If so, this is for you. Sarah Christopherson, FANA mom, will provide the designs, the directions, the paper, envelopes, all necessary supplies, and even food. You simply have to put the cards together. In the end you will leave with 15 handmade cards (3 each of 5 different designs) and coordinating envelopes. Held Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Christophersons' home in St. Bonifacius. 10 person maximum.

Come and celebrate the beautiful Minnesota summer with a pool party at the Skow Norgard house! Swimming and games for kids, followed by a kids movie presentation. Swimming & Sangria for the adults – followed by some adult time by the patio/pool during movie time. This event will be catered and sitters will be on hand to assist/watch kids. Party date on August 4th, from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., weather permitting. Standby date on August 11th. Limit of 6 families. $50 per family.

Come learn life-saving skills while having fun! The class will be led by Brett Kurtzman who will teach you how to administer basic CPR on adults and children until professional help arrives on the scene. This class is perfect for anyone and everyone who wants to learn CPR and does not require certification. Food and beverages will be served. This session will be held on a date to be determined at the Kurtzman's home in Deephaven. Cost: $40 per person, Limit: 8 people per session.

Colombian Culture Day, presented by the Abel family, FANA mom Amy Kinsman and some yet-to-be-determined young adult FANA adoptees. Join us for a day of fun! Some examples of the things we have done in the past: play Colombian Culture Bingo, eat mango and fried plantains, sing Spanish songs, read stories in both English and Spanish, play games while using basic Spanish phrases, and do crafts with Colombian themes. El Dia is for children entering kindergarten through third grade. Includes lunch. (We will accept pre-school children who are used to a classroom setting, potty trained and able to spend several hours away from parents without tears.) Held Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm at Totem Pole Park in New Brighton. Cost: $50 per child, Limit: 20 children.
